How 1018 Marketplace Works

One compute marketplace.
Three ways to participate.

Buy available compute immediately, post your requirements and let providers compete, or list infrastructure you want to sell. 1018 Marketplace brings supply, demand and transaction management together in one marketplace.

The Marketplace

Buy. Bid. Sell.

1018 gives buyers and providers multiple ways to find each other without creating multiple disconnected marketplaces.

Buy Compute

Need compute now?

Browse live capacity already available from providers and purchase the infrastructure that matches your requirement.

01

Browse live inventory

Compare available hardware, capacity, region, pricing and availability.

02

Choose your capacity

Select the listing and quantity that fits your workload.

03

Place your order

Confirm the transaction and the provider begins provisioning your compute.

Buy Compute

Compute Bids

Let providers compete for your demand.

If you need something specific, publish the requirement and let qualified providers compete with pricing and capacity.

01

Post your requirement

Specify hardware, quantity, region, timing, workload, budget and infrastructure requirements.

02

Receive competing offers

Providers submit their available capacity, pricing, location and commercial terms.

03

Choose the best offer

Compare providers and accept the offer that best fits your requirement.

A live signal of compute demand

Compute Bids also show providers what buyers are requesting: hardware, quantity, region, timing and target pricing. This helps providers gauge demand before deploying more capacity.

Post a Compute Bid

Sell Compute

Turn available infrastructure into revenue.

Providers can publish available capacity for immediate purchase while also competing for demand through Compute Bids.

01

List your capacity

Set hardware, quantity, location, pricing and availability.

02

Receive marketplace orders

Buyers can purchase available capacity directly from your listing.

03

Compete for buyer demand

Browse open Compute Bids and submit offers for workloads that fit your infrastructure.

Sell Compute

One Order Process

Different ways to find compute. One transaction workflow.

A direct marketplace purchase and an accepted Compute Bid both create a 1018 compute order. From that point forward, buyers and providers use the same provisioning and access workflow.

01

Order Created

A buyer purchases a live listing or accepts a provider offer from a Compute Bid.

02

Provider Provisions

The provider prepares the infrastructure and securely supplies the required access details.

03

Compute Ready

Once provisioning and access information are complete, the compute is marked ready for the buyer.

04

Buyer Activates

The buyer claims access, confirms the compute and activates the infrastructure.

Dashboard

One place to manage everything.

The Dashboard is not another marketplace. It is your control center for the activity you already have on 1018.

Compute Buyer Dashboard

Manage your compute.

Track marketplace orders, Compute Bids, provider offers, provisioning status and compute access from one place.

Compute Seller Dashboard

Manage your infrastructure business.

Manage listings, incoming marketplace orders, submitted Compute Bid offers, provisioning and transaction economics.

Marketplace Fee

1018 earns when a transaction happens.

Buyers can browse available compute and post Compute Bids without a marketplace transaction fee. When compute is transacted through 1018, the marketplace charges the provider a 10% fee.

The buyer sees the agreed rate. The marketplace fee is deducted from the provider side of the transaction.

Example

Accepted buyer rate$2.95 / GPU / hr
1018 marketplace fee$0.295 / GPU / hr
Provider receives$2.655 / GPU / hr

Marketplace Protection

The transaction stays organized inside 1018.

1018 keeps marketplace orders, Compute Bids, offers and provisioning activity tied to the transaction record.

Provider information and access workflows can be released at the appropriate stage of the transaction while 1018 preserves the commercial and provisioning history.
